      J. Scott Braden, Lifelong Resident of Minnesota

Successful Negotiation StrategyJ. Scott Braden, lifelong resident of Minnesota, received his B.A. Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from St. John's University in 1978, and his law degree from Hamline University School of Law in 1981.  He is admitted to practice in all Courts in the State of Minnesota, the United States District Court for the State of Minnesota, and the 8th Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.

He is a member of the Rice County and the Minnesota State Bar Associations.  He is a past president of the Rice County Bar Association and Fifth District Bar Association.  He was an Assistant Public Defender for the Third Judicial District from 1990 through 1996.

J. Scott Braden was named a 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law and Politics.  He was also named as a Top 40 Family Law Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law & Politics. He received the Minnesota Legal Services Coalition 2001 Pro Bono Publico Award. 
 
He is past chairperson of the Faribault Regional Center Board of Review.  He is a past member of the Rice County Community Health Services Advisory Board.  He is a member of the Board of Directors and President of Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, Inc.  He was a Church of Sacred Heart - St. Lawrence Parish Council Member from 1994 to 1997.  He was a member and past chairperson of the City of Faribault Planning Commission.  He has been a Rice County resident since 1987.

Christopher R. Braden received his BA Degree in Political Science from the University of North Dakota in 2006. He graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan in 2010.
He was admitted to practice in Minnesota State Courts in May , 2010. He is a member of the Rice County and Minnesota State Bar Associations. He is a Big Brother/Big Sister of Southern Minnesota volunteer.
